DAVENPORT PURPLE TRANSFER PLATTER C 1835 ER
There are many names for this color transferware but purple is purple--albeit there are many shades! This 14-1/2" platter is a deep magenta. It was made in Staffordshire by the Davenport factory around 1835. The name of the pattern is "Alpine Amusements" . Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration.

STEVENSON PURPLE TRANSFER LACE BORDER PLATE
This 7-1/2" plate was made by Stevenson in Staffordshire around 1835. It is known as the Lace Border Series and the pattern name is "Virginia Waters". It looks like China to me! Condition is excellent.
