This pearlware footbath was made in Staffordshire around 1825. It is beautifully printed in dark blue with the pattern Maxstoke Castle, Warwickshire. It is 20" from handle to handle, 9" high and 14" wide. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration. It is rare to find a dark blue footbath from the 1820s. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. I use the footbath to hold newpapers and magazine. It also looks lovely filled with plants and flowers. |
