A large two color transfer printed jug in pink and black made by Ridgway in Staffordshire around 1835. It is 7" high and 8" from the handle to the spout. The man under the spout says "Give Thanks to God". Is he perhaps Wesley or Spurgeon? Other than an "X" shaped hairline on the bottom which does not go through, condition of the jug is excellent. |
