A 4-1/2" pearlware satyr jug trimmed in pink luster and made in Staffordshire around 1820. He is well painted in enamel colors and has a very satisfied look on his face. His condition is excellent. Almost all of the satyr jugs have pointy ears, short horns and crowns of grapes. What a wonderful gift for a lover of wine!
