A 2-1/2" by 1-1/2" pot lid and base that shows that even in the late 19th century there was not much truth in advertising! The company promises removal of tartar and whitening of teeth just as toothpaste companies do today. Other than a small nick on the rim and some staining, appearance of the lid is very good. The base, which may not be the original, is in good condition.
