A 4-1/4" Pratt pot lid of a dog saving a sheep from freezing to death in a snow drift. The lid is beautifully printed with great attention to detail. The fur of the dog and the wool of the sheep are so realistic that you almost feel as if you could touch the animals. Other than some age crackling, the lid appears to be in excellent condition. It dates from the mid nineteenth century. |
