This 4" pearlware jug has both a rabbit and a squirrel to recommend it. The squirrel is odd looking but very cute. The border is printed upside down which adds to its charm! There is a roughness and small nicks on the spout and two small chips on the base. Other than these defects, condition is excellent. The jug was probably made in Staffordshire around 1830. This is a terrific piece for animal lovers as squirrels are rare on Staffordshire.
