This amusing potty is also a lovely piece of Minton pottery dating from the 1830's. Inside it says Smee's Bedside Seat. Perhaps they were the company that commissioned the potty? I've had other pieces of this toilet set such as a soap dish and a toilet box. It is always beautifully printed which reflects Minton's high quality. It is 6" high and 10" across. Condition is okay. The potty displays well but has some mediocre repairs. If you are interested, I will go into detail. Overall, it is a rare and gorgeous piece.
