This is a lovely Gaudy Welsh pattern that seems to have no name. If you know it, please tell me. The pattern is delicately painted in pinks, orange, green and lustre over a blue underglaze. Other than glaze wear to some of the lustre on the rim, condition of this 8-1/4" plate is very good. The plate was probably made in either Staffordshire or Wales between 1840 and 1860. |
