Perhaps I should have placed this 4-1/2" creamware satyr mug in the Battered Beauties category but the only things wrong with this mug is a missing handle--quite enough! Other than that, he is well molded and painted in high fire Pratt colors. Look at all of the photos as the true colors are in the last photo. The mug was probably made in Staffordshire between 1790 and 1800.
