A beautifully molded Romantic Staffordshire jug transfer printed in teal green and clobbered in pink, purple, yellow, black and blue. There are lots of different flowers connected by black branches set among a background of small flowers and leaves. The jug is 8" to the top of the handle, 6" from the handle to the spout and 4" wide. Condition is excellent. It was probably made in Staffordshire around 1830-1835. Another name for this type of pattern is Victorian Chintz. If you like this jug, take a look at the others I have listed in the Victorian Chintz category in this catalog.
