This miniature Gaudy Welsh spill vase is 3-1/4" high and 2-1/2" at the top ( its widest point). The pattern is Asian which decorates both the outside and the inner lip of the vase ( a building block design). The vase is blue underglaze as well as orange, pink lustre and copper lustre. Condition is excellent. It was probably made in either Staffordshire or Wales between 1840 and 1860. |
