Circa: 1840 Manufacturer: Maker Unknown
This blue transferware jug is in an unusual pattern that vaguely resembles weaving but also resembles Japanese lanterns! The overall effect is something like a pattern from the 1950s. However, the jug was made in Staffordshire around 1840! The printing is beautifully done in shades of blue that range from light to dark. Condition is excellent. The jug is 7" to the top of the spout and 6" from the spout to the handle. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. |
