A 9" by 6-1/4" platter printed in blue and painted over the glaze with orange, yellow, pink and brown enamel. The platter was made in Staffordshire around 1830- 1840 by the Mason's Factory. Other than a flaw in the glaze near the small bird, condition is excellent. The colors are bright with little to no wear and th print is clear and crisp. The back is combed and has a buff ground on which is printed the Patent Ironstone China mark in black. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. |
