This 5" pearlware plate is a rare size to find in early transferware. Although the plate is not marked, it is printed in magenta purple in the "Palestine" pattern. There is a tiny nick at about 6 o'clock which is so small that I didn't notice it until now. I am just mentioning it for the record. The plate was made in Staffordshire by the Adams Factory around 1835. |
