The dark green beautifully printed 10-1/2" by 8" dish was made by Copeland & Garrett, Late Spode in Staffordshire around 1835. The parttern is not common. I have only seen two pieces in this series and they are both in this catalog. This pearlware dish is entitled "Nasturtian" which is printed on the back. The many lobed form is very pleasing. There are two tiny nicks under the rim which are not visible from the front. Appearance is excellent. I'd love to see more pieces in this series. If you like botanicals, this is the one for you! Take a look at all of the photos for the details.
