This 16" by 12-1/4" pearlware platter is printed in medium to dark blue with an early scene of Bristol, England. The series was made by Pountney & Allies around 1830. Each size platter and plate has a different scene. This one is entitled "View Near Bristol, River Avon". Other than a scratch in the upper right hand side of the platter between the inner and outer borders, condition is excellent. There are no cracks or chips. There is also no restoration.
