Manufacturer: Unknown Maker
Known as Rockingham or Bennington , this window stop is quite wonderful! Molded in the shape of a lion's head, the piece was used to prop open a window. It is 5" high and 4" wide. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration. The piece is hollow. Take a look at all of the photos to see the details. And, take a look at the other lion window stop in this catalog. It was probably made around 1840-1860. |
