This 10-1/4" soup bowl is beautifully printed in three colors--blue, black and green. The pattern name, printed on the back, is Muleteer. The name of the importer--Henderson & Gaines, New Orleans--is also printed on the back. The soup was made by Davenport in Staffordshire around 1835. It is unusual to have a two color piece let alone a three color transfer! Take a look at all of the photos for the details. There are two chips on the back that do not show on the front. Appearance is excellent. |
