This 17" by 14" platter was probably made in Staffordshire around 1840. It is printed in medium to dark blue with a charming romantic pattern. The pattern is entitled "Spanish Beauties". Condition is excellent with no cracks, chips or restoration. You can tell this platter was handprinted as one of the seams does not quite match up in the border!
