This lovely 11-1/2" by 8-1/2" platter is part of the "Vignette" series. The central pattern has a lovely country scene of men in a hay cart. All of the patterns in this series contain rural scenes of early 19th century England. Except for an in the making nick at the bottom of the platter, condition is excellent. The series was made in Staffordshire by John Bagster around 1820. Take a look at all of the photos for the details.
