This vegetable tureen, which is part of the "Vignette" service I am listing, is 12-1/2" by 9" and 8" high to the top of the flower-shaped finial on the lid. It has four different pattern, one on the bottom of the base, two on the sides of the base and one on the lid. All are lovely prints of rural scenes. I have two of these tureens. There is a minor chip under the handle on the base as well as some wear to the finial. Condition for its age is excellent with no other chips, cracks or restoration. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. The tureen was made in Staffordshire by John Bagster around 1820. |
