The 9-3/4" dinner plate from the "Vignette" dinner service shares a central pattern with the cheese stand. The series, which was made by John Bagster in Staffordshire around 1820, has central patterns of rural scenes surrounded by a lush border of roses and ribbons. This scene depicts a shepherd and his sheep. I have twelve of these plates. Condition of all twelve plates is excellent. They are being sold separately. However, if you are interested in obtaining more than one, I can offer a better price. Take a look at all of the photos for details. |
