I'd love to know the name of the scene on this 7" high by 8" handle to spout dark blue jug. It look like a pattern made by Adams around 1825, but, hopefully, someone will identify it. Although there is a hairline crack that runs from the middle of one side into the bottom, it is very difficult to see as it is lost in the dark blue pattern. There are no other cracks or chips. Appearance is excellent. The cost of the jug reflects the damage. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. The jug was probably made in Staffordshire around 1825. |
