Made by William Adams in Staffordshire around 1825, this dark blue cup and sauce is printed with the pattern known as visit to my Lady's Bower. It is a very romantic scene! Except for a flaw on the outside rim of the cup where the pattern and glaze missed, condition is excellent. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. The last blurred photo is an attempt to show the impressed Adams mark. |
