This pair of nearly 4" long by 1-1/4" wide pearlware knife rests was probably made in Staffordshire around 1825. They are printed with a lovely rose and fruit pattern which is most likely a border pattern. Condition is as follows. One has a repair to a small nick at one corner. The other has a filled-in grayish repair to one end. Appearance is still good. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. Knife Rests are fairly uncommon, and it is nice to have a pair. |
