This jug is 10-1/4" to the top of the handle and 9-1/4" to the top of the spout. It is printed in dark brown with a fruit and flower border both inside and outside. The pattern contains the Romatic Staffordshire prerequisites of cows, people, ruins, river and mountains. The pattern is very familiar. Let me know if you know the pattern name. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. The jug was probably made in Staffordshire around 1835. Condition is excellent.
