This 10-1/2" plate was made by Wedgwood in Staffordshire around 1900. It is printed in lovely shades of medium to dark blue and is is entitled "Water-Lilly" on the back of the plate. The design has many of the elements of the Aesthetic Movement with its assymmetry and refusal to stay in a border. The pattern is gorgeous! Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or restoration. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. |
