Ladles are usually missing from sauce and soup tureens as they are so fragile. This dark blue transferware soup tureen lade is from Adam's Regent's Park Series, and dates from about 1825. The bowl of the ladle is 3-3/4" and depicts foliage. The ladle is overall about 9". There are three places where the glaze didn't cover the ladle; on the outside rim of the bowl, the side of the bottom of the handle and at the top of the handle. There are no cracks, and the handle has never been off. Appearance is excellent. If you are looking for a soup ladle for your historical dark blue soup tureen, this is the item for you! Take a look at all of the photos for the details. |
