This 8-1/2" plate was made by Ralph Hall in Staffordshire around 1835. It is printed in a deep magenta purple. The romantic scene is lovely, but the border with its stripes, flowers and quilted pattern is dramatic. I have four of these plates in stock. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. There are tiny edge repairs to all of the plates. Appearance is excellent.
