The pattern name for this charming toast Rack is "Peace". It is printed in light and medium blue with a child astride a lion. There is a lamb resting at the lion's side. The toast rack is 8" by 4-1/4" by 4-3/4" high. The open work of the separations is beautifully done. Two sides meet in the middle with a curled end. The shape and effect is like a Gothic arch. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. Other than a repair to a clean break on one of the arches, condition is excellent. The toast rack was probably made in Staffordshire around 1835-1840.
