If you are looking for a magnificent Ironstone plate is a fabulous Chinoiserie pattern, this is the one for you! This 9" soup plate is printed in blue and enamelled over the glaze in orange, blue, green, gold and turquoise. Other than very minimal wear to some of the orange enamel, condition is excellent. The soup has a painted Turner's Patent mark on the back. It was made in Staffordshire around 1820. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. I especially love the detail of the painted flowers on the back of the plate.
