Eastern Street Scene is a pattern that originated with the Riley factory. The works were purchased by Samuel Alcock in 1829 who, according to Coysh and Henrywood, possibly inherited the factory's copper plates. This lovely 12-1/4" by 9-3/4" platter is printed in medium blue. Condition is excellent with no chips, cracks or repairs. The platter was probably made around 1840 in Staffordshire. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. |
