Another of my favorite series is a hunting series made by the Liverpool factory, Herculaneum. It is sharply printed in a rich, almost purple, blue with men, dogs, horses and game. This 10" soup has hunters and their dogs surrounded by a lush border of roses and other flowers contained by a white gadrooned edge. Sadly, the soup has some damage. There is a 4" crack at 12 o'clock with an adjacent 1-1/2" line. There are also two chips on the footrim. Appearance is still excellent. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. The crack has been stabilized, and the price reflects the damage. |
