Chargers are a fairly uncommon form in early transferware. This nearly 15" charger is even more unusual, as it is an historical pattern. It is printed with Rogers Boston State house, which was made in Staffordshire around 1825. Although appearance is excellent, there has been restoration to a hairline at about 7 o'clock. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. If you like unusual historical items, this is the piece for you! Cows on Boston Common! |
