This 9-1/2" soup plate was introduced by the Wedgwood factory around around 1806-1807. It is printed in medium to dark vibrant blue with hibiscus flowers surrounding a geometric reserve. The border contains stylized flowers against a diamond shaped fence alternating with four different oriental buildings. Take a look at all of the photos for the details. Condition is excellent. The plate is impressed "WEDGWOOD". |
