Printed in purple with farm implements and bees and chickens, this 5-1/4" to the top of the handle jug is clobbered in orange, blue, green and yellow enamel. If you like farm items or country items, this is the jug for you! The jug (pitcher) is being sold as is because there is wear to the blue enamel around the top edge of the jug as well as a tiny tight hairline in the spout. There are also chips on the bottom of the jug (not seen when the jug is standing. Take a look at the photos for the details. The jug was probably made in Staffordshire around 1835.
