This 8-1/2" pearlware plate is printed in medium to dark blue with a pattern that includes a greek key and a sphinx! The background looks like vermicelli. The plate has no footrim and the edge is painted with ochre enamel. Thus, the plate probably dates from the early 1820s. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or restoration (although there is some flaking to the ochre paint). I have two of these plates in stock. Take a look at the photos for the details.
