This 4-3/4" high by 5" handle to spout pearlware jug is printed in medium and dark blue with the Wedgwood pattern, Hibiscus. Wedgwood made lovely botanical blue and white patterns in the early 19th century. There is a soup bowl in this pattern in this catalog. Other than a "Y" shaped line on the bottom, that doesn't show on the interior of the jug, condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. The jug is impressed "Wedgwood" on the bottom. It was probably made around 1820. Take a look at the photos for the details.
