| This blue transferware dog dish was made by Copeland & Garrett, Late Spode (1833-1847). It is 7" long, 5-1/2" wide and 3" high. There is a printed mark on the bottom of the bowl. It is the perfect size for a small dog. The lovely floral pattern is printed in medium to dark blue. There is a 3/4" chip on one foot. There are no other chips, cracks or repairs. It is amazing there is no other damage. Dogs are not always so gentle with their bowls! Appearance of this rarity is excellent. Take a look at the photos for the details. The last photo shows my cat, Mykonos, eating out of the bowl. He doesn't know it is a dog bowl, and he will eat his food out of anything! |
