This 10" diameter by 4-1/2" high pearlware bowl is printed in dark blue with stylized flowers and leaves. The dark blue of the flowers is set off by the narrow band of dark red that lines the rim of the bowl. There is a little wear in the bottom of the bowl, as the bowl was probably used for salad. There is also a good repair to two chips on the bottom rim. These are not visible when the bowl is standing. Appearance is excellent. Take a look at the photos for the details. If you are looking for an unusual graphic pattern and a useful bowl, this is the item for you! The bowl was probably made around 1820. |
