Made by Thomas Fell & Co in Staffordshire around 1835, this 10-1/2" by 8-1/2" platter is printed in magenta purple with deer, ruins, trees and flowers. The pattern name is "Antiquarian". This is a serial pattern, with each size and shape having a different ruin and deer in different poses. Small platters are fairly rare, so this might be the one for you! Condition is excellent. Take a look at the photos for the details. |
