This 8" scalloped plate is printed in dark red with a Romantic transfer scene. The pattern name is "Fountain Scenery" for the large fountain in the foreground. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The plate was made in Staffordshire around 1835 by William Adams and Sons.
