Manufacturer: Davenport
This large pearlware jug was made in Staffordshire by Davenport around 1830. It is 9" high, 8" from the spout to the handle and 4" wide. The medium blue print depicts a large urn filled to overflowing with flowers. There is a worm placed on the left of the urn! I hope he doesn't eat the flowers! The border is filled with large fruit and flowers. There is an excellent repair to a chip on the inside of the spout and some thin lines to the base. Appearance is excellent. If you like gorgeous botanical prints, this is the item for you! |
