Found on an 8 inch plate, this pattern may be part of a series. The pattern is, after all, called "Scriptural Series". The maker may be Knight, Elkin & Bridgwood (c. 1827-1840), but the impressed mark has obscured the printed mark. The subject of the plate is "Moses on Mount Sinai" with the addition of "Exodus, Chap. 20" in the mark. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. This is a rare pattern.
