Manufacturer: Spode This 20.5 inch by 16 inch well and tree pearlware platter was made by Spode around 1820. The platter is part of a large hunting series entitled the "Indian Sporting Series". The pattern name is "Shooting A Leopard". I like to think that the leopard gets away! There is a restored crack in the foliage in the bottom left of the platter. It is very difficult to see. Appearance is excellent. The border is filled with charming animals. Take a look at all of the photos for the details.
