Manufacturer: William Ridgway
Found on a 10 inch soup plate, this pattern is printed in blue and black with a lovely floral print. Entitled "Etruscan Festoon", it was made around 1835 by William Ridgway. Things Etruscan were the rage in the 1830s, but the pattern is actually a lovely floral print. Condition is excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is an in-the-making glaze drip near the top right rose bud. The other splotch is my flash! Take a look at all of the photos for the details. |
